ABOUT US

Established in 1968, Porirua City AFC has a rich football history. Originally based at Waihora Park, the club catered to men, women, and juniors, competing in Wellington leagues.

In 2001, two Masters teams revived the senior side, with the Masters 1 team winning their grade in their first season. Since then, the club has grown, achieving multiple league promotions and titles, including success in junior, men’s, women’s, and Masters divisions. The club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018 with an Old Timers’ Day at Adventure Park.

Now based at Adventure Park in Whitby,  Porirua City AFC offers football for men, juniors, and is working to re-establish a women’s team.  All senior teams compete in the Capital Football leagues, and we welcome new players at all levels.
